Like any other aspect of your wedding, budgeting for flowers is an individual decision. Some people love flowers enough to put it high up on the wedding budget list but for some, they simply want to do what seems necessary.
The flowers that will end up in photographs; the bridal bouquet, attendant's bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, are what you are most likely to remember. Also, the bridal bouquet will actually be with you the entire wedding day and should be treated as important as any part of the wedding ensemble. Budget enough money to get the bouquet of "her dreams" for the bride and fit the rest of the items, such as centerpieces and ceremony decorations into a realistic budget. If you do want a wedding lavish with your favorite blossoms, work with your florist on flowers that will be readily available during the season of your wedding and that will not require too much time to assemble.
